Quality management is a structured and organized system to ensure that the products or services produced meet the established quality standards. The system ensures customer satisfaction as its main goal.
The pursuit of customer satisfaction is one of the business targets of PT Hasgara Cipta Gusana (Hasgara), the owner of the AdBlue® factory. This automotive complementary product primarily benefits in reducing air pollution.
“AdBlue® must meet quality standards that define the requirements for chemical composition, physical properties, and performance characteristics that must be met by AdBlue®,” said Rama Nugraha, one of the founders of Hasgara in Jakarta recently.
According to him, AdBlue® producers and distributors must have an effective quality management system (QMS) to ensure that products and operational activities meet standards.
Effective Quality Management
Hasgara has obtained ISO 9001 certification, where ISO 9001 is a standard that regulates international quality management systems. Genta Ginanjar, another founder of Hasgara, said that an effective Quality Management system must include:

Second, Documentation procedures. The company must document all quality management system processes and procedures well.
Third, Staff training. Staff must undergo training on the quality management system and its proper implementation.
Fourth, Internal audits. Internal teams must conduct audits periodically to ensure the quality management system runs effectively.
Fifth, Corrective and preventive actions. Take corrective actions to address problems identified in internal audits. Also, take preventive actions to avoid future problems.
Quality Control
The quality control process for AdBlue® follows these steps:

Second, Monitoring the production process. Supervisors must monitor the production process to ensure AdBlue® meets specifications.
Third, Final product testing. The final product must be tested to ensure that it meets ISO 22241 quality standards. Internal and external audits must also be conducted periodically to ensure that the QMS is running effectively.
