Air pollution is a serious problem in many big cities. However, now there is an innovative solution from Indonesia to overcome this problem. This solution comes from PT Hasgara Cipta Gusana, which successfully developed and produced AdBlue®. This liquid can significantly reduce exhaust emissions from diesel vehicles. “AdBlue® works by injecting synthetic urea liquid into the vehicle’s exhaust gas. This urea reacts with nitrogen oxide (NOx) and converts it into nitrogen and water. These substances are not harmful to the environment,” said Rama Nugraha, one of Hasgara’s founders, in Jakarta recently.
Rama and Genta Ginanjar, another founder of Hasgara, have a vision to create a product that can contribute to environmental preservation. Through AdBlue®, they have succeeded in realizing this dream and becoming pioneers in the DEF industry in Indonesia. By obtaining a German VDA license, Hasgara’s AdBlue® has been recognized internationally. This proves that domestic products are able to compete with imported products and meet high-quality standards.
The presence of AdBlue® in the Indonesian market is expected to encourage the use of more environmentally friendly diesel vehicles and contribute to the government’s efforts to improve air quality.
