Addressing Diesel Vehicle Emissions with Urea Solution, Turning Toxic Substances into Environmentally Friendly Solutions
Jakarta, October 2, 2025 – Air pollution remains a problem in Indonesia. Based on IQAir 2024 data, Indonesia ranks 15th out of 138 countries with the worst air quality. Transportation emissions are the largest contributor to air pollution, at 47%.
Solutions to transportation emissions include improving fuel quality with the implementation of Euro 4, expanding public transportation, and reducing nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions with modern technology.
Hasgara Chemicals is the first company in Indonesia to hold an AdBlue® license from the VDA, the German Automotive Industry Association, for urea-based Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF).
With certification and a supply chain that meets international standards, Hasgara is ready to provide high-quality AdBlue® (AUS 32) to meet the needs of modern diesel vehicles equipped with SCR emission reduction technology.
